- I have no complaints about the ozone generator. We researched at great length before deciding on this one and it did not disappoint us. I wish I could say the same about the Sylvan Company. Because we needed this quickly, I immediately tried to contact the company to ask them to send it by a more expedient method, which I fully intended on paying for. I tried emailing, I tried calling their customer service number (which referred me to their web site "for faster service") and left a voicemail message explaining the situation and asking them to please contact me ASAP, and I contacted them through their web site with the same information. I provided home and cell phone numbers so as not to miss their call. It took several days for them to respond (by email, not phone) and when they did, they flatly refused to ship it any other way, despite my willingness to pay for whatever faster method they could use. They were slow to ship and totally unresponsive to my request. I would NOT purchase anything from them again.
- This worked great and killed the horrible mold smell emanating from years of neglect in the basement, after cleaning everything out of the basement I used this machine and it took about 2 days for it to kill the mold but it did kill most if not all of the mold in the basement. Tip: Use a dehumidifier to remove moisture in a very moldy place as when the mold dies it releases its moisture to the surrounding air.
Unfortunately as I was moving the machine upstairs I dropped this machine and the little generating plate inside broke. So I just ordered another one as well as asked about replacement parts ...it is very fragile...please handle with care.
Have fun with this one its a great machine when it's working...lol...my bad!!
- Purchased the machine a little over a year ago and it worked great initially. After about 50 hours of use, the output decreased considerably. While the fan runs fine, it no longer generates ozone. Sent an email to the company about 3 weeks ago and have not heard back.
