- I really loved this product when i first bought it. From day one it worked great. However, within months the battery in the transmitter begin to suddenly lose complete charge, not good when your dog is running in woods. Thank God for the return policy of the large box store Cab#### that I bought it from. I returned it thinking it must have been a weird fluke, doh! the brand new one I exchanged it for was even worse! Battery would not stay charged and BOTH transmitter and collar would not even charge, on my way back to the big box store to return it....
Oh well, guess i will try a new brand....
07/07/2010 - UPDATE - well I returned my collar to Cabellas a couple of times now, luckily for me there is a Cabellas store near me and they will take my returns whenever for whatever reason. Looks like I will keep returning this every 6-8 months.
