- I think I tried nearly every product available this summer and early fall to rid our dog and cat of fleas including Capstar. Nothing seemed to really work 100% and we're still seeing a few fleas here and there. The Capstar helped in conjunction with flea baths a few times a week, bombing the house quite a few times, and numerous other treatments. I think the Capstar did some good but I can't say that it was "amazing" like some of the other reviews. I'm just waiting for a killing frost in the northeast at this point and hoping that we can be rid of fleas for the winter!
- A SIMPLE TRICK I USE FOR MY BUDDY BOY IS THIS: ROLL THE LIL PILL IN A BIT OF BUTTER OR MARGARINE,THEN I HOLD HIS HEAD,+ OPEN HIS MOUTH FROM THE SIDE WITH MY FINGERS, STICK THE LIL BALL AS FAR AS POSSIBLE IN HIS MOUTH + HOLD HIS MOUTH SHUT TIL HE SWALLOWS! - capstar killed all the bugs on my cats within 20 minutes of ingestion. it was deadly magic. the cats freaked out for a few minutes as the bugs scrambled around their fur, but were none the worse for wear after. highly, highly recommended. use in conjunction with knockout ES and frontline for best results.
