Customer Reviews
- I recently purchased this medium kennel as a climate-controlled alternative for summer so that my Sheppard mix will have a cool spot to escape the Arizona heat.

I am a 38 year old woman with general handy skills, but I don't do anything terribly technical. That said:

The instuctions are picture-based. There is very little actual instruction. The part numbers stamped on the various peices were wrong. The instructions I received for the medium kennel applied to a different size kennel (which I was able to determine based upon the pictures). Figuring out what went where was not terribly difficult. I needed help from a neighbor only to get the top of the frame on, and it was hard to get it into place. I recommend using WD40 and a rubber mallot (worked for me!). The canopy is essentially a tarp that is tightened to the frame shape using a different mechanism that was is in the instructions. The instructions reference rope and s-hooks; what you get is these tension-type clamps. With a little trial and error, I figured it out. Overall assembly time: 1.5 hrs.

Customer service? I sat on hold 20 minutes prior to accepting their offer to 'call me right back', and two weeks later I'm still waiting on that call.

The quality of the frame is quite good. It's just right for the side yard I picked, and I had no trouble installing a mister system along the top of the frame so Duke will be cooled off this summer.

Of particular note, however, is that the height referenced in the measurement is the apex of the roof; you will have to stoop to enter the kennel. I'm 5'4" - if you're 6' you'd probably have to get on your knees to get inside....
